Could be? I always was a bit slow…

Yes, it is Wednesday but your error is my fault because I put the wrong day at the end of my post. I’ve fixed it now. I’m always so on top of things. 😉

I never gave it a thought, Lynette, but of course I knew it was Wednesday. What’s in a day? Happy tomorrow!

I do, too, Jo. I like how the colour of the leaves changed at night through the street lamp.

We still have a lot of green leaves about but I don’t know how well they will turn. We certainly don’t have long, though. Maybe another 10 days or so. Sad to see them go.

Yes, those are white ash and they definitely looked amazing. The shape of them is so pretty, too.

Nice to see autumn hanging on Lynette. A bit rainier here on the Wet Coast, but still finding decent walking weather. Happy Wednesday. Allan

Thanks, Allan. It’s amazing how many green leaves we still have. They’re starting to look the worse for wear though. Yes, we have been getting more rain than usual but that’s a good thing. We even have the beginning of a snow base at Apex. Walking is still quite good here with temperatures around 10C or so. Enjoy Vancouver.

It really has been, Belinda. Absolutely beautiful. We’re getting more rain now though which is very welcome since we’re still climbing out of our drought. Cheers.

Nice to hear you’re getting rain. We had a few drops today and the temperature went up to 21C, incredible!

21! Wowza! We’re around 10-14 in that range and that’s very usual for this area in the autumn. I’m pulling out the rain gear for my walks now; really glad it’s not snow gear for a northern temperature of -21!

Strange, eh! The other day I was wearing my winter coat 😏

What a dream . . . fall in the mountains. Lovely. We’re finally getting foliage and it’s windy today. Leaves are blowing off the trees. 😕

It’s very windy here, too. An amazing amount of leaves are still green but the wind is making them look rather ragged, unfortunately. October has definitely been a beautiful month but it’s turning rainy now. I have to pull my rain gear out but that’s much better than bundling up against all the snow and cold of the north! I hope you get some good autumn days still; cool and crisp and sunny. 😊 Cheers.

Beautiful photos, but the white ash at night is spectacular!

Thank you very much, Tricia. It’s amazing how beautiful those trees are, but they’re often overlooked in favour of maples or tamaracks. Cheers.
