With recent showers and the significant rain that fell in late August, Penticton Creek is full and babbling happily along.

After a season of high temperatures, it’s nice to see.
I hope your weekend is babbling along nicely, too.

I can hear that brook babbling. Lovely shot, Lynette.

There is just something about the sound of a stream, brook, creek or river, moving along. Nature’s white noise. Hot and smoky here yesterday and hot again today with hopefully less smoke. Happy Sunday Lynette. Allan

Thanks, Allan. I agree. I often stop at this creek when I’m on my way somewhere else; it’s irresistible! We are smoky and hot also, worse today than yesterday. The smoke is apparently from a very recent and large fire in northern BC. We’re supposed to get rain today. I hope that fire does, too.

Agreed, it’s a lovely sight. And who doesn’t enjoy the sound of flowing water. We could sure use some rain over here.

I always have to stop there, even if only briefly. It’s such an iconically babbling brook. Wishing you rain, Linda.

I do as well, Belinda. I often pass this brook and usually stop, even if only for a minute.

Whoever coined the phrase “babbling brook” sure picked the right word for the sound of the water. A happy bubbly sound.

I sure agree, Anneli. I find it almost impossible not to stop for at least a tiny bit to admire this brook and its happy sound. Cheers.
