Fiery Sunset

We have been experiencing very high temperatures of 38C (100.4F) or so over the last week, and our sunsets have been matching those temperatures.

As the sun disappeared behind the mountain, the day finally began to cool a bit as we watched the sky calm into shades of blue before the decent into night.

It was a beautiful summer evening.

Happy Tuesday.

  1. The sunsets must be a beautiful relief from the unrelenting heat of the day. After our 32 mm rain Sunday night, it is cooler, barely getting to 20. Perfect. Happy Tuesday Lynette. Allan

    1. The low that night was about 23, so it was lovely sitting outside with lots of others who had also been hibernating during the day! Glad to hear that that you’re getting some rain and cooler weather, Allan. Cheers.

    1. Thank you very much, Linda. It really was a gorgeous sunset and so nice to cool off! We’re supposed to get relatively lower temperatures towards the end of the week (high 20s or low 30s), thankfully.
