Joy abounds from the beautiful spring bloomings …

… but even after they have fallen …

… they lend allure to a concrete sidewalk.
Happy Thursday.

They do! It’s jacaranda season here and I spend almost as much time looking down as up, Lynette.

They are so gorgeous in their colourful splendour! Agreed, during petal season, looking down is important. 😊

Nothing like flower petal snow. We started seeing this towards the end of our April week in Vancouver. Such abundance. Happy Thursday Lynette. Allan

Thanks, Allan. Agreed, nothing like petal snow! Vancouver has so many bloomers. People here in Ontario are talking about how late everything is, including all the blooms.

It’s so beautiful, Belinda. The most lovely drifts of petals everywhere. 😊

It’s too bad the blossoms don’t last longer. But hey, it makes us appreciate them while we can, even the petals that have fallen.

How was the smell?

I didn’t really notice anything, either pleasant or unpleasant. The trees were dropping their petals, so any scent would have disappeared by then.
