A case of not only being in the right place at the right time, but having the right equipment and knowing how to use it. I love the polar bear shot, but perhaps he is resting from his struggle to find firm sea ice. Hpapy Thursday Lynette. Allan

That’s certain. I love that shot too, and I thought the same, but then I remembered that polar bears can swim something like 50 km at a time. Maybe he had already done that, though!

These are such stunning photos, especially the one with the polar bear. It reminds me that we should probably prioritize visiting Churchill, Manitoba at some point.

I agree, Linda. These photos really are stunning. I think I like the polar bear photo best. Just totally crashed out and drifting along! Amazing capture. Yes, a visit to Churchill would be wonderful.
