Departures …

… from the usual February weather are a necessary little thing right now since many of us seem to be experiencing overcast and winter blahs.

Back in early June we stopped at a favourite winery.

We enjoyed a lovely view …

… a lovely glass of wine …

… and a lovely lunch.

Summer memories are great right now.

Happy Thursday.

  1. That snap of the wine glass reminds of the clever photo you graciously allowed me to use as an inspiration for one of my stories. Said story is still one of my favorites, ever. Hugs.

  2. Nothing beats a winery lunch by the lake or sea. Thanks for hope of a spring return. No snow on the ground here right now, just drab brown, as daytime high temps range between +8 and +13. That is set to change soon, but still not cold. Happy Wednesday Lynette. Allan

    1. Thanks, Allan.
As you can tell I’m looking forward to spring now! Yes, our temperatures are about the same, but we are getting a lot of rain and fog – and yesterday, a rare pink fog, too. Our temperatures are supposed to drop later in the week as well but nothing freezing. Cheers.

  3. Usually our January is very cold, but with sun most days it isn’t snowing. This year it is cloudy nearly every day, with more rain than snow. The current forecast is calling for sun most of next week – I can hardly wait! My solar panels will be happier, too.

    1. Cloud, overcast and fog are very normal here for January, but we had a very unusual January cold snap that may have done a lot of damage to the vines and orchards. Time will tell.
Glad to hear that you’re going to be getting some sun, both for yourself and your solar panels! If all goes as usual we will start getting some regular sun within the next two weeks. I’ll be glad to see it! Cheers.
