      I agree, Allan. A tropical downpour is a wonderful thing to watch – from inside! The storm has actually continued for 24 hours now but I understand that it will soon pass.

   1. It definitely was. Very easy to walk in it with an umbrella. Today it was much more windy (with intense rain showers at times); apparently a big storm is passing nearby but expected to be finished soon.

5. I don’t mind the rain, so long as I’m not hiking or camping, and find the sound of it rather soothing. It’s definitely a good excuse to pull out a book or do something relaxing at home.

   1. I completely agree. When you’re hiking or camping through it, it can become a real ordeal (been through a few of those. Ugh.) but when you’re cozy inside and watching it through a window – terrific!
