Much is made of the peacock tail, but their backs are brilliant, too.

More gorgeous blue and green.

Orchid fronds.

Green and blue anyone?

Have a good Sunday.

Such a warm and wonderful change for you. So much better than dealing with icicles hanging from your roof.

Haha. 🙂 Thanks, Anneli. I hope not to see icicles hanging (and know I have to deal with them) from my roof for a long time, if ever.

You’ve certainly had more exposure to them than any one person needs.

The first photo brought to mind why a peacock has reason to “strut his stuff” (as the old metaphor goes). In this short clip, a peacock not only struts, he acts like a privileged character as he chases away a smaller bird!

That’s a great video! Thanks for sending it. Peacocks are so aggressive and self-confident. They will chase people, too. I once saw one chase a German shepherd (also aggressive and self-confident!) and scare the daylights out of it.

Such a far cry from this grey day in Vancouver. Thanks for brightening up the scene Lynette. Allan

You’re very welcome, Allan. I noted that it’s been about 2-6C and raining in Penticton for the last week or so. Actually, not a bad thing for upping the fire protection, fingers crossed.

An atmospheric river is supposed to hit us here on the Lower Mainland on Monday & Tuesday. Will have to find a way to keep dry.

I hope you have some rain gear. Sounds like your going to need it! Stay dry. 🙂

So many vibrant colours, which is much appreciated this time of the year.

Glad you like them, Linda. The weather in the Okanagan Valley has been almost non-stop rain for about three weeks now. Very overcast but also good for the low water table from the summer drought, so definitely not the worst thing.
