7. Great shots, Lynette! It must be so cool to see orchids that we have to keep indoors, out in the summer, which grow naturally there.

   1. There is an orchid garden in a nearby mangrove swamp. They grow on trees and other, taller plants (without injuring them) so that they can be at the top of the canopy. They love humid and sunny conditions. Agreed – it’s very cool to see them just growing wild in their natural habitat.

8. Beautiful pictures, especially of the peacock. It’s nice to see some colours these days, especially given how drab and dreary it is this time of the year.
