    1. It did look that way but we only had intermittent showers later on; no wind. I spent a lot of working time avoiding clouds, but aside from the dangerous weather they can cause, I find their variety and how they interact with light intriguing. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Allan.
The next morning it was very overcast with 10C, some clouds at about 900 m. and lovely slow showers all day, so I didn’t mind at all.
You’re unfortunately heading into BC’s wet period (with snow at upper elevations) although as you say, your area can get pretty foggy/low overcast (my experience of the airport in late autumn). I think you’re supposed to get decent weather by Wednesday though (us too). Safe driving, Allan.

    1. Could it be because the water looks green? I was focussed on capturing the clouds and lights, but yeah, the water does look a peculiar colour.

It’s something I’ve seen before; an interplay of reflected light from the clouds (they were very low) against the colour of the sand at the lake bottom and also its filtration through the water, I think. At least, that’s my theory. 🙂 Cheers.

    1. Thank you very much, Linda. The effect that the clouds have on light reflection and colour spread is really amazing, I find. It really looked like we might have a huge storm brewing, but we only had a nice, soaking rainfall, badly needed.
