I love how this rose has a delicate pink tinge, just barely visible.

It’s not a perfect specimen as some of the petals have a bit of damage, but that only proves that beauty is not necessarily perfection nor vice versa.
One of the things I love about the natural world is its lack of judgement. You just are what you are.
Happy Tuesday.
Looks perfectly beautiful to me. Happy Tuesday, Lynette!
The natural world and Popeye have the same disposition. 🙂

Thank you, Steve.
I forgot about that famous Popeye line. Thanks for the catch! 🙂

Very true. And it’s often the imperfections in nature that creates beauty.

I agree. We humans are often so busy looking for it that we can miss the important stuff.

It appears to have a soft pink glow to it. Roses are beautiful whether perfect or not. Happy Tuesday Lynette. Allan

The buds on that plant actually look pink but that dissipates as they unfold. I agree, Allan. Roses are always beautiful. Cheers.

I was about to push back on “It’s not a perfect specimen” when you did it yourself. Imperfect is also beautiful.

It sure is. I think we humans spend too much time on the hunt for our individual ideas of perfection.

One thing I learned in a painting class is that it’s good to put in the wilting leaves as well as the perfect ones. At least – that works for me, a realist.

I am a realist as well and I agree completely. I usually post my photos as they are; I used to play around with editing but not much any more.

Beauty. Nature never pretends its something other than what its been designed to be.

I agree, Lori. Nature is very tough, even tragic, but never judgemental or fraudulent.

So beautiful…I also like what you wrote, Lynette about lack of judgement. You just are what you are. It is not difficult when you are as lovely as this rose! ❤

Thank you very much, Carol. 🙂 We humans are often so terribly judgemental and it can cause such suffering. I don’t really know what beauty is, but I do know that it’s not perfection. Cheers.
