1. Happy Sunday, Lynette! It’s a rainy day here which is washing the smoke out of air. I hope the fires are receiving rain as well.

   1. We have been very fortunate in our area since we have been getting showers off and on throughout June. Ontario and Quebec need rain very, very badly, though, along with other parts of the country, too. It’s the worst year for forest fires since record-keeping started. I’m glad to hear you’re now getting some rain.

   1. Thanks, Allan. That’s not the best summer weather but given all the fires it’s what you need although I saw that there was a tornado in central Alberta yesterday. The extremes are definitely extreme this year.

6. In the first photo, I immediately thought of the penny candies we used to buy at the corner store. Colour, flavour, scent.

   1. Oh yes, I remember those! They do have similar colours and I would very much associate them with summer, too (that’s when I usually had a little money in my pocket). Cheers.
