Red roses represent love and devotion, but on their own, devoid of symbols, they are completely able to just be what they are – totally magnificent.

Their velvet petals, lovely scent and deep colour are a treat for the senses.

I hope you have a rosy day.
Beautiful roses! I can almost smell them from here, Lynette.

Gorgeous roses Lynette. We managed to get to the rose gardens in Stanley Park and QE Park on this trip and they were just coming into their prime. Happy Friday. Allan

Fantastic! We have adjusted our planned Vancouver visit to September so I’ll have to wait until then to see them. They will be past their peak but I’ll be able to enjoy the Penticton rose garden over the summer. Cheers.

My rose bush has an explosion of roses right now. Mine don’t have a scent, but they do have the vivid color and velvety petals.
Have a great weekend, Lynette.

Thank you, Lori.
Aren’t roses wonderful? There are so many, many beautiful flowers, but roses really are the best, I think. Cheers.

Roses are very pretty and I love how they come in such an assortment of colour. It’s hard not to love these red ones.

I agree, Linda. There are so many kinds, all the way from the Alberta wild rose to the deeply sumptuous, cultivated red garden roses. Cheers.
