On yesterday’s walk I saw many rhododendrons. They have almost finished their lifespan, but are still impressively beautiful.

Happy long weekend Monday.

So good to see blooms after this long winter and cold, wet spring.

I agree, Anneli. The north was hit by sudden hot temperatures and now there are fires, so it was one extreme to the other. The temperatures here in Penticton have been lovely with occasional rain showers but today there is a slow steady rain; good to keep those hills damp!

Beautiful. The rhodos are in full bloom in Vancouver right now, along with everything else. Happy holiday Monday Lynette. Allan

Rhodos are so exuberant; the plant equivalent of an extroverted personality!

So pretty! I love how they come in so many different colours. It’s too bad their blooms don’t last for longer.

I agree! They are so pretty and bright and having them for just a bit longer would be terrific.
