Another beautiful view from our recent drive through Jasper National Park.

If you’re interested in Jasper, here’s a link: https://parks.canada.ca/pn-np/ab/jasper It’s an amazing place to visit year-round and has the second largest dark sky preserve in the world.
Happy Tuesday.
Jasper always impresses. Can’t wait for our next visit. Happy Tuesday Lynette. Allan

Agreed. I’m going to miss our frequent drives through the park, although after I retire our visits will be leisurely.

The closest I ever got was driving past on my way back to Calgary from the Shuswap. It was July and I remember stopping at Moraine Lake and getting snow blown in my face. Gotta get back sometime.

Haha. 🙂 That happens. Moraine Lake is in Banff National Park, which is quite a bit further south from Jasper. I used to do a lot of hiking in the Moraine Lake area. Gorgeous, but yes, it can snow in July! I hope you’re able to come back some time; maybe do a mountain trip. Cheers.

Isn’t that great? The largest one is actually in NWT. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/wood-buffalo-park-now-world-s-largest-dark-sky-preserve-1.1397144

I’ve only ever visited Jasper in the summer, but the mountains look even more majestic with all that snow.

Yes, it’s beautiful year-round. We have been fortunate to see it three or four times a year, depending on whether I drive or fly home. I hope you get a chance to visit in autumn or winter some time.
