Thank you very much. I am at home now in Penticton where the roles have apparently reversed. The subarctic is having unusually high temperatures and here we are having rain, which is not at all normal. No fires though, so that part is great.

When I was a kid, we called them cattails. I remember being fascinated by them and always keeping an eye open for them when hiking around a pond.
