I love how beautiful autumn can be. Tranquil, serene, windless, comfortably warm. On those days it feels a bit like the earth has relaxed into a comfortable chair and is taking a quiet breath of satisfaction on a job well done.
I think this photo represents that sense rather well.

Happy Tuesday. π
I like that personification of earth as human and taking a seat. Nice ππ½

Seasons are beautiful and it is a pity when we do not take the time to appreciate them. This autumn has been spectacular. Raining today in Vancouver, but that will pass. Cheers Lynette. Allan

I am a “work to live” person; I enjoy my job very much but it has never defined me. But even when I try to make time for my “outside life,” I can get highjacked and I do not spend the time that I would like to enjoy everything that nature has on offer. Yes, the rain in Vancouver should stop – autumn is beautiful there. Enjoy your Vancouver breather. π

One could look at autumn as the calm before the storm….but winter will be here soon enough without getting ahead of ourselves, so why ‘fall’ into that trap!

Indeed I do look at it that way. Earth leans back in the easy chair and goes to sleep, letting the chips βfallβ where they may. π
