Hahaha. I like a bird with attitude. The ravens here are so intelligent – it’s really amazing what they do to make it through the winter. I believe they might be able to read! 😉
Awesome! Made me laugh and smile. At first I thought cute photo and then I realized all of it. Thanks for sharing! Hope you’re getting better weather now!
I’m glad to hear you got a laugh and a smile. Laughing and smiling are in my top five. 🙂
Yes, we have much better weather – we’re at 17 hours of sunny daylight now, so the temperatures are rising at a rapid rate and all that snow is mostly gone. Thanks for asking. 🙂
I work in the sub-Arctic, and at this latitude, we drop to about 5 hours of daylight during December. By the end of June, we will have about 19 hours of daylight. It’s a short season, but with all that sunny daylight, the growing season is amazingly similar to much more southern locations.
Our feathered friends better not get caught fishing, or they might end up as jailbirds.

Hahaha. 😀 It would be very unfortunate for this kingfisher to lose his throne.

17 hours! That’s a lot of sun. And in the winter how many do you get? I’ve heard of places getting so little sun at times.
