For the giraffe photo, I wonder where the photographer was positioned — they were at eye level with the animals.

I wondered that too, but I think that maybe these are young giraffe. If so, they would be about 1.8 metres (6 ft), so a tall person or someone standing on a riser could do a face-to-face photo. Cheers. 🙂
