Thank you. 🙂 Yes, this peacock is wild, but he doesn’t seem too concerned about humans, either. He’s pretty big and can be rather intimidating if he chooses.

This is one of a group of feral peacocks in Naramata, a small town (pop – 1600) in the Okanagan Valley, BC. They are the descendants of some tame peacocks that were released about 15 years ago after their owner died. They do well for themselves among all the wine grapes in this rural area. I took the photo at about 4 in the afternoon.

They are rather intimidating and everything so often he would stamp his feet and shake his feathers. Intimidating would suddenly become a bit menacing.
