  1. There is some sadness about an empty lake as summer nears its end. Here, we just want some sun and less wind. Today, perhaps. Happy Thursday, Lynette. Allan

    1. Thank you so much, Allan. Northern Alberta didn’t get a great summer.
Yes, there is something sad about an empty lake at summer’s end – the fun is over for another season.

  2. Lovely photos and words. And you are once again invigorating my need to dwell near water. I want to remain on that beach at the end of the sunburnt day, slipping quietly into my little cottage and dreaming blog-story dreams…

    1. Thank you very much. 🙂
I am happy to stoke your wishes. 🙂 Sometimes we get reminders of these wishes floating past us; we’re ready to notice them then. Our home is across the park from this beach. Not a cottage but somewhat close. 🙂

  3. Oh so true. Great piece and I just love the photography that accompanies the words. The beach is glorious but we borrow from nature what is hers. I like the silence of the pictures. Thank you. Love Joni
