I have left the north and am presently at my home in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Recently, I sipped a glass of wine and watched the sun go down behind a hill.
I am happy and grateful for all the wonders in my life. The people (including the bloggers), the work, the food, the time to sit and enjoy a sunset.
Cheers from British Columbia. 🙂
Beautiful, Lynette. Enjoy your time off!

I am currently in your country and absolutely loving it. I enjoyed a short Rockies tour which was sensational and am now in Vancouver Island which is perfect. We had 4 days on the west coast and loved it.

The west coast of Van Island is amazing. I hope you were able to go to Tofino and/or Ucluelet. Good to hear you are enjoying your visit. 🙂

Happy homecoming Lynette. Hope your weather stays great. We keep getting rain here. Things are growing, though. Cheers. Allan

Thank you! 🙂 The weather has been cooler than normal for the Okanagan – mid to high 20s instead of ten degrees more – and there’s been more rain too. But there are no fires around here for the first time in three years. Last year’s grape harvest was really affected by all the smoke (It can affect the flavour), so I’m happy to see it be a little cooler and wetter. 🙂

Is that Giant’s head in the photo?

I see giant’s head is at right and farther away, so that mountain is opposite Munson mountain

Yes, I think Giant’s Head is further away. 🙂 Actually, I was more fascinated by the changing sky colours when I took this photo.
