I have left the north and am presently at my home in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Recently, I sipped a glass of wine and watched the sun go down behind a hill.I am happy and grateful for all the wonders in my life. The people (including the bloggers), the work, the food, the time to sit and enjoy a sunset.
Cheers from British Columbia. ๐
Beautiful, Lynette. Enjoy your time off!
Thank you, Jill. I will. ๐
What a beautiful sunset. Enjoy the gorgeous surroundings of British Columbia. It is always nice to have time to relax.
Thank you. ๐ It has been a particularly busy work cycle over the last year.
We took a train from Seattle once had a great time. Beautiful picture. Sometimes I miss living in Seattle. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome. ๐ The Pacific Coast is so beautiful and Seattle is no exception.
I am currently in your country and absolutely loving it. I enjoyed a short Rockies tour which was sensational and am now in Vancouver Island which is perfect. We had 4 days on the west coast and loved it.
The west coast of Van Island is amazing. I hope you were able to go to Tofino and/or Ucluelet. Good to hear you are enjoying your visit. ๐
Yes we stayed in Ucluelet and went to Tofino a few times.
I hope you were able to enjoy one of the beaches (or two). ๐
I did, several of them. Went for a very long walk along Incinerator Long Beach
You might want to take a look at this site: https://www.tofinophotography.wordpress.com. Wayne’s photography of the birds, animals and landscapes of the area are breathtaking.
Thanks
Oh how I wish I was there with you to experience that view and clank my wine glass with yours.
Enjoy!
That would be wonderful! ๐
Thanm you – I am slowly getting into the holiday, relaxing mindset. ๐
๐๐
Enjoy!
Thanks – I will. ๐
Lovely sunset!!
Yes – it was beautiful. ๐
Cheers! Beautiful photo. ๐
Thank you! ๐
Happy homecoming Lynette. Hope your weather stays great. We keep getting rain here. Things are growing, though. Cheers. Allan
Thank you! ๐ The weather has been cooler than normal for the Okanagan – mid to high 20s instead of ten degrees more – and there’s been more rain too. But there are no fires around here for the first time in three years. Last year’s grape harvest was really affected by all the smoke (It can affect the flavour), so I’m happy to see it be a little cooler and wetter. ๐
Looks very peaceful. I think you found Heaven on Earth!
It is very beautiful here. ๐
What a wonderful place to sit and ponder for a while. Or longer.
Yes, I’ve been working hard for a long period and am finding myself doing a lot of pleasant drifting. ๐
It looks stunning!
It really is beautiful. ๐
Enjoy your time away. And don’t be surprised when I show up. After all, you invited me, so… ๐
Thank you. ๐
And you are welcome any time. ๐
A beautiful scene. We took several wonderful trips up there.
Thank you. ๐ Yes, it’s very lovely.
Is that Giantโs head in the photo?
I see giant’s head is at right and farther away, so that mountain is opposite Munson mountain
Yes, I think Giant’s Head is further away. ๐ Actually, I was more fascinated by the changing sky colours when I took this photo.
Cheers! Thanks for sharing that lovely view! โค
Thank you! You’re welcome! ๐
Nice picture. Definitely some beautiful sunsets around here ๐
You are from Kelowna! Thanks for stopping by. ๐ Yes, the Okanagan is so completely beautiful and sunsets can be really stunning.
