I enjoyed immensely these blue skies; such a lovely sight after weeks of winter grey.

These photos are completely unedited; that way you can really see how pretty these clear skies were.

Happy Tuesday; I hope you have a blue sky day.

Beautiful captures. Looks so calm and peaceful. It’s supposed to be overcast and snowy in southern Ontario, but it’s significantly warmer outside today!

Thank you, Linda. It was a beautiful day and very little wind, as well. I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy the weather break – my, central and eastern Canada have had a terrible winter. A real throwback to the winters we used to have.

Definitely! Grey has its place but blue is much better. 😊

Clear sunny skies in winter are always a gift. It also looks like a calm day Lynette. Double bonus. Happy Tuesday. Allan

Thanks, Allan. Yes, for once the wind wasn’t howling up the valley from the south (the dominant wind pattern). For a while there it was almost impossible to walk along Skaha Lake (it’s on the south end of Penticton and the wind really hits it; it’s a very popular spot for kite surfing in autumn). The sunny skies are definitely a nice gift.

That lake surrounded by mountains is always a beautiful subject, Lynette. 🙏🏻❤️

Yes, I always find it beautiful even when it’s shrouded in cloud or overcast. 😊 Cheers, John.

Thank you very much, Belinda! 😊 I like the counterpoint of the bit of grey cloud against the blue. Cheers.

Don’t you just love a blue sky? I am looking out at a beautiful blue sky as I read this. I need to enjoy it today because tomorrow calls for snow.

I sure do, Jenn! Yes, I saw your weather forecast and it’s not great. Definitely – at this time of year, we have to enjoy sun and blue sky when we get it.

Nature’s hues are the best and rarely need any help. Happy Tuesday, Lynette!

Thanks, Tricia. 😊 I agree. I sometimes see over-processed landscape photos that really destroy the original beauty. It can be best to just let them speak for themselves.

Lovely shots Lynette, we haven’t had blue skies since mid January 🤯 all getting very depressing now, soon 🤞

Thank you very much, Brian. 😊 We have had some significant breaks from the overcast this winter but also significant periods of very grey overcast, too – for most of January, actually. When it goes on like that it can definitely become depressing.

No blue sky here. But I agree, they do lift the mood. Apparently we are due for one on Saturday 😂

We had many grey days in a row in January but there’s a bit of relief going on now, thankfully. I hope Saturday turns out to be glorious for you!
