… and although it was a bit chilly at -2C (28F) it was quite a lovely afternoon at Skaha Lake.

I saw some people playing tennis …

… while a large family group had a fire on the beach and were celebrating a birthday.

I even saw someone preparing to go for a swim; she was wearing a full wetsuit but even so, that would not have been my thing.

Most people were simply walking, enjoying the sun, enjoying their dogs, enjoying the person walking with them.

A very satisfying December afternoon.
Happy Monday.
What a lovely peaceful scene, Lynette xx

A wetsuit can make quite a bit of a difference. I’ve swam in near zero Celsius water in northern Sweden wearing a wetsuit, and I did not feel cold. Your photos are beautiful.

Thank you very much, Thomas. Oh yes, I realise that they work well and have used one in the past. It’s just not something that I would particularly want to do now. Cheers.

A great time of year to get outdoors and take stock of where one is. After 2 weeks at -22 to -30 here, we are at 0 right now. Go figure. Maybe we will get out today. Happy Monday Lynette. Allan
