… gave us this.

Some blue sky …

… a calm lake …

… and sleeping wine grape vines …

… before we got more of this. At least the white stuff was at the mountain top but in any case, in December it’s important to enjoy the weather breaks when you get them!
Happy Saturday.
That lake is just something else. So beautiful.

I’ve missed checking in on your lovely updates. Blue sky on the water. It doesn’t get any better than that especially in December.

So good to see you again! We have been getting enormous amounts of rain and very grey skies so this sunny, blue sky break was a real treat!

I couldn’t agree more! We should all make the most of these weather breaks while we have them, especially in winter!
Thank you for sharing these spectacular photos!

A beautiful sequence Lynette, something Canadians wait for every day in winter. We are still waiting here, but at least the wind has dropped. Have a wonderful Saturday. Allan

Thank you very much, Allan. We were definitely fortunate to get this little break and we even have some sun again today but that also means we’re colder. Holding on at +5 but that’s of course much better than your temperatures so I certainly can’t complain! No wind is a very good thing, especially when it’s below zero, though.

Beautiful views, Lynette! It looks a bit like summer in the photos sans the snowy peak. Happy Saturday. 😊

Thank you very much, John. 😊 Yes, it looks like it could be very early spring or even summer but it’s only 5C (41F), so definitely not! Cheers.

It’s been in the mid to upper 40s here overnight lately, chilly!

I remember those winter temperatures from my time in Arizona. It could get rather comfortable in the sun in protected spots, though.

Yes, exactly! I get that effect sitting in my backyard waiting for a bird photo op. 😊❤️

I can usually keep myself busy and happy through gray days, but there’s no denying the perky feeling that sunshine gives.

Thank you very much, Tricia, I am. 😊 Depending on the type of vine they will often turn yellowish in the winter which I find interesting. I hope you’re having a relaxing Saturday too. Cheers.
