A cornucopia of seemingly endless leaves …

… everywhere …

… singly …

… and in drifts …

… piles and heaps …

… or just as a few here …

… or there.

They can’t be stopped or slowed, as inexorable …

… as breathing.
Happy Saturday.

Lovely. It’s like confetti sometimes with the colours.

Thank you very much. 😊 It definitely does, at least until the wind blows them all away!

I’m really enjoying the leaves too! We were collecting and have saved them. 🤷🏼♀️Now as I walk and try to pick up one special leaf on each walk to have on the table and admire. As it goes from soft to crunchy we are putting them in the bag. I raked a pile and the little one got to stomp in it which was fun.
The piles made by the HOA landscapers are all full of sticks and garbage. 🤦♀️

I don’t think that anyone, adult or child, can really resist a heap of leaves (just leaves – no sticks or other things). I’ve seen lots of people lately looking at the leaves on the ground or deliberately swishing or crunching through them. I hope your little one has lots more fun with all the leaves. Cheers.

Nature truly is a master of her own canvas!
These photos of the leaf art you captured emphasise the autumn season like the brushstrokes of a breathtaking painting that capture the spirit of fall.
Thank you for sharing these stunning photos, Lynette!

Thank you very much for your lovely comments, Alex. 😊 Greatly appreciated.
I love observing where they fall – in windless conditions – drifting down and sometimes landing in very unexpected places. And then there are the wind-sculpted tumbles of them. Cheers.

Much as I hate leaves falling mainly on my lawn, there is a beauty to the change in seasons, which is undeniable. Have a great weekend Lynette. Allan

Thank you very much, Allan. We have had so much wind that many of them are crumbled into bits and are now flying around in Whitehorse. 😉 Whenever we had a windless or semi-windless day I tried to get a few photos!

I think of Charles M Schulz and his fall cartoons strips. I just love the fall, thanks for sharing. 🍁🍂

So many colourful and crunchy leaves on the ground! Ours are all wet and soggy. We still have to do quite a bit of leaf clean up in our background but the weather hasn’t been ideal.

Actually, ours are all wet now, too as we are completely socked in by low cloud and lots of rain is coming down. No wind, though! I think you had snow as well as rain, right? Good luck with the leaf clean-up; they’re a lot of work when they’re soaking wet.
