Happy Thursday.

I agree; it sure is. The air can be so still and clear.

proof if we ever needed it that there’s no bad time to be outdoors!

Definitely not! I was much later than usual for an evening ramble but I saw a different world, too.

Being outdoors in the last gasp of autumn has no timetable. Morning, evening, whatever. A time to be relished before it is gone. Happy Thursday Lynette. Allan

Thank you, Allan. Agreed. It’s a time to be relished no matter how early or late. My evening walk was quite late but I got to see a different autumn world. It was well worth it. Cheers.

Those purple flowers have the most vibrant hue. Made my morning a little brighter. Thank you for posting!

My pleasure. Those are asters; I’m glad they made your morning a little brighter! They last well into autumn and are so pretty.

I love small cricks and remember playing in them as a child in Michigan. 😊❤️

This one is very near our home and I cross it on a regular basis. I usually like to stop to take a look. A couple of weeks ago the kokanee salmon were doing their upstream swim.

Yes, it is. The herons also love salmon; they were sure doing a lot of fishing!

Black and gold, as we get closer to Halloween, that’s a fitting combination.

I didn’t think of it that way when I took the picture, but yes, definitely the Halloween colours!
