    1. Hi Allan, we had some smoke and haze with lots of tankers flying overhead but yesterday there were two major downpours followed by continuous rain all night, so that helped tremendously. The fire is now “held” and the evacuation order lifted. Apparently all the work Peachland did over the last couple of years removing deadfall, etc. really paid off, too.
