Lovely Spring

There are often very ordinary but pretty things to see as we travel through our days. We usually just have to take a second to notice.

A pretty snowbell tree with bee …

… and a lace-leaf maple that has almost completed its spring metamorphosis from red to green.

Spring’s lovely sights aren’t to be missed.

    1. Easy for me to say and I understand why many people don’t or can’t; it’s pretty hard to keep up with all the stuff we have to do. But we do need to try, at least. Yes, there is a grove of snowbell trees in one of the parks. They’re so pretty, aren’t they?

  1. Spring is a time to stir the memories and the hearts with rebirth. We were lucky?? enough to see spring in B.C. and Alberta this year. All too soon, it slips into summer and these days, the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer take on new meaning. Happy Saturday Lynette. Allan

    1. Thank you very much, Allan. I think that’s lucky, although all those fires aren’t. I hope your air quality is okay. I remember how bad 2023 was here in Penticton. There were times when visibility was incredibly low and everyone was wearing masks to go outside. I agree with you about the slipping into summer and the new take on lazy, hazy and crazy.

          1. OMG! I didn’t even realize WP had changed it. I did not knowingly do that. It’s from ages ago and I have way more wrinkles now, but I’m vain enough to leave it for a while.

    1. Thank you very much, Belinda. 😊 Definitely. It’s unfortunately easier said than done when most people are so busy, but I think it’s important to make the effort. Our health benefits from it a lot. 😊
