We are enjoying this right now on our walks in Victoria, the leaves, the flowers and the ferns all waking up and putting on a show. Spring is a great time to be out and about Lynette. Happy Wednesday. Allan
Thank you, Allan. It’s the same here. Everything is just bursting, greening and growing at speed. It’s so great. Despite the reason for your Victoria visit I’m glad you’re able to enjoy spring there.
The wooded hillsides here are turning green by degrees but beeches and ash aren’t out yet. But that is a good thing for us: in this short window while the canopy grows, the woodland floor turns brilliant with bluebells.
A brilliant bluebell floor! How fantastic to see that colourful spring display. There is some layering here but for the most part spring really bursts forward in this valley almost all at once. Cheers.
Hi Linda, they already are much bigger and yes, seemingly overnight. During the last week or so everything has just exploded in leaves and flowers. It’s so gorgeous! Cheers.

I so enjoy photos of new leaves. We’re on the 21st floor and get to watch the pale green unfold in the spring – lovely!

It’s amazing how everything starts to wake up during the spring. It won’t be long until those leaves get bigger. It seems to happen overnight.
