Even though I’m anticipating spring, I do love autumn and its lovely slow decline; it’s such a beautiful season. I’m looking forward to your southern autumn pictures. 😊
The heat of the sun at this time of year is amazing. Glad to see the buds coming Lynette. As Pat from E-quips said in one of her posts, we are in sprinter. Cheers. Allan
Thanks, Allan. It sure is, and we have had a string of good days with high enough temperatures to get the sap starting. Sprinter – I love that! Cheers.
It sure is, Belinda. 😊 I was quite distracted while on my walk as I was checking a lot of the trees and bushes for progress. The rhododendrons that are in full sun are showing signs, too. So great!
So am I! I’ve been spending quite a lot of time during my walks looking at the trees and bushes to see how far they’ve come. We’re thankfully well above freezing at night now so that’s helping too. That’s actually a dried leaf from last year, not a moth. A moth would have been a lot more interesting. Cheers.
Oy! Feet of snow? Ugh. Sometimes weather patterns are very predictable. When I lived in NWT there was a major snowstorm every single October 31 (with lake effect snow off Great Slave so there were always these big fat flakes). Halloween was definitely an indoor party!
Happy Saturday and a happy sign of spring there in the photos.

Yay spring! First it’s a few buds, then a few flowers, and then it is officially winter no more.

I am looking every day! The sun had some warmth to it today, but the nights are very cold. And is that a moth on the rose?

Nope. Middle of April, here before anything, thinks about it. We’ve still got 2 feet of snow, although the hill tops did melt last week.
