  1. That doesn’t agree with nature, does it? 🙂 They can’t “palm” that off on us. Rules were made to be broken. 🙂
You’re having lovely weather there. Happy Retirement Monday, Lynette.

    1. It sure doesn’t. This is an old saying I used to hear from my auntie and her friends (all deceased for a long time now). I think this used to be a fashion rule. Nature disagrees completely!

Thank you very much, Steve. We have had some rain showers but otherwise it has been gorgeous. 🙂

    1. I couldn’t agree more! I think this was a fashion rule from the 1930s and it was that generation that apparently followed it. There’s very little sense in fashion, because yes, nature loves blue and green. So intense in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Cheers.

    1. Definitely! This used to be a fashion rule from the 1930s, I think. My long deceased auntie (and her friends) used to say this. Sometimes, there’s very little sense in fashion sense. 🙂

  2. So glad you are getting blue skies Lynette. What was the last line we used on this saying when we were in school, “Unless there is a monkey in between”. Kids are cruel. I believe the actual saying is “Unless there is a colour in between. I like blue and green together just fine. Happy Monday. Allan

    1. Thanks for filling in the rest of that ditty (I didn’t know there was more – I was raised in a francophone area and the English version was clearly altered). “Unless there is a monkey in between” – yup, kids can be very nasty.
We did have some showers last week but the weather this week has been stellar. I definitely like the blue and green!
