Funny you should mention the layers of blue. That was something I first noticed in the Mediterranean off southern Spain. I thought it was so special. We don’t have that here in the Pacific Northwest.

No, the Pacific Northwest doesn’t and neither does the Atlantic in my experience. I have also seen the blue layers in in the Mediterranean. So beautiful and relaxing. I only read about two pages of my book because I was busy looking at the water.

Palm trees are happy trees. Probably because they remind me of being on vacations to warmer places.
