    1. Ours too, right up until a few days ago when they suddenly began to turn as we got some very much needed rain and cooler temperatures. I will post more photos as the trees change. 🙂

  3. Fall colours are the best. We got out this past week with a 30 k bike ride and a 6 k forest walk. A good thing too, because the recent rain has washed many leaves off the trees. Enjoy the colours Lynette. Happy Saturday. Allan

    1. Thank you, Allan. Yes, I remember the colours not lasting long on the trees in Medicine Hat as we usually got a couple of good wind storms by mid-September. Glad you were able to catch them before they were gone. Cheers.

    1. We haven’t lost many leaves yet, and the wind has stopped and the sun has come out. The best part is that all the fires are out, at least around here. We’re supposed to get temperatures in the mid-20s next week – a brief return to summer?

      1. Thanks! The leaves started to change much earlier this year, so we may only have a couple of weeks left to enjoy the fall foliage. The colours aren’t as vibrant here either as it’s been such a dry month.

          1. This week has been unusually hot and we ended up turning our AC back on. We’re supposed to finally get some rain over the next couple of days and the temperatures are supposed to drop back down to normal.
