      1. Oh no! I remember walking to school in -43. I was glad we lived only one block from school. It was so cold the air seemed to be frozen. I imagined that I could cut a cubic foot of icy air out or the surrounding air.

         1. I’m not far from work either; it takes me about 7 minutes. Even so, when it’s that cold my eyelashes freeze and yes, the very air seems frozen (actually, the water vapour in the air really can, which is probably why you had the feeling you could cut it). I keep reminding myself that it will soon pass!
