Snow Canopy

Our rise in temperature caused this snow canopy to develop. You can see where the door has shaved off some of the snow; whittled it down so to speak.

You might be wondering why we haven’t knocked it down. Actually, it’s attached up there rather solidly, and secondly, that’s a lot of snow. If we knock it down, we will have to shovel it off our steps, and since it has become warmer, the snow has become denser and heavier.

That’s probably more than you wanted to know about snow. 😉

Happy Tuesday.

  1. We had huge clumps of snow falling form our 2nd floor roof yesterday. Glad I was not below when it fell. Another few warm days and hopefully the snow will settle a bit. Happy Tuesday Lynette. Allan

    1. Thanks, Allan. Our warmer temperatures have had the consequence of more snow, so this canopy has quite a bit more pressure on it now. We’re going to have to try to knock it down before it falls on someone who’s opening the door!

    1. Nope, not mine, either! I tried getting it down this evening, but it’s still really attached – it’s much more solid than it looks. My M is going to work on it tomorrow. Cheers.
