We started the morning with a thick blizzard, but by the time the afternoon rolled around, we had this. Beautiful!

It does look very beautiful. It’s crazy how quickly the weather can change. Judging from your picture, I never would have guessed that a few hours earlier there was a blizzard.

Yes, it was. I thought the blizzard was going to settle in for the day, but I really didn’t last long! When the sun came out it was warmer, too (relatively speaking; it went from -20 to -12!), so that was nice.

A beautiful scene Lynette. After 2 days hard driving, we are in green Vancouver. Certainly a change from our regular environment. Stay well. Allan

How great! I’ll be back in Penticton in March; so looking forward to it as the weather there will be getting quite nice by then. Enjoy your west coast break!

Snow-covered landscape when it clears up after a storm is my favorite. Lovely photo!

Thank you very much. 🙂 Agreed – it is always beautiful afterward.

Lynette, did you hear my sigh … such stunning beauty and I would long to stride out across the snow, under the fir trees with their snow covering! Enjoy the quiet of this before the weather changes yet again. Here in the UK it is a balmy and sunny 11 degrees centigrade after days of grey and chill. Hints of Spring all around, including the eager and excited bird song!

Thank you very much. 🙂 Of course, I envy your sunny 11C! It is very beautiful and fresh, too, but it’s cold and I’m coming up to being finished with such frigid intensity. I am looking forward to taking a warm break in early March at my southern home. I love hearing the birds again at winter’s end.

So clean and beautiful, but so bleeping cold!

Oh yes, Annneli. It wasn’t too bad when I took this photo, around -12C, but my tolerance is starting to dwindle. I’m already looking forward to a two week break in Penticton in early March.
