Thank you. 🙂 Vancouver is a really beautiful city, no doubt. It has been great to be out of the smoke for a bit; Penticton is supposed to get a couple of days of rain toward the end of the week (showers today, too) so fingers crossed the fires will be extinguished.
I thought of you when I saw a photo of Vancouver on the weather report tonight. It was socked in with smoke that must have moved in after you arrived. It looked really bad!
Thank you. 🙂 We were in Stanley Park all day, and didn’t really notice it as being too bad (it was definitely hazy though). It’s a whole lot better than the air quality in Penticton.
I don’t know how they breathe in the Okanagan these days. We had it that bad on the island a few years ago and it was really, really awful, looking for the next breath.
You really just have to stay inside. Exercising outside in the smoke is definitely not a good idea. Forecast is still calling for rain at week’s end; I really hope we get it.
Despite the haze, Vancouver still looks beautiful at night with all the twinkling lights. We’ve been having some hazy days here in Ontario from all the wildfires.
Yes, it does, and it’s still beautiful despite the drought. I have never seen Vancouver looking so brown and dry; it’s really bad, and this is a rain forest!
Enjoy Lynette. Hope the air is as clean as it was when we passed through a week ago. Allan

It’s a bit hazy, but nothing like Penticton. Penticton apparently had some rain today, so I hope conditions have improved. Cheers.

I’m not a city girl, but Vancouver is one of the prettiest cities I know. Have a nice time. Good to get away from the smoke for a while!
