It’s a very healthy waterfall right now because we had so much snow (and now rain), but if the rain slows down, it will drop off to a trickle by the beginning of August.
Unusual-looking falls because of the color of the water — not to mention its force, which I’m guessing is caused by heavy spring rains….hence the name SPRING FALLS?
You are exactly right. π We had a huge amount of snow this year and that has been followed by almost non-stop rain. It’s more moisture than we or the animals ever want or need, but the falls are beautiful!
Look powerful π

This waterfall is particularly powerful in the spring; the volume drops off significantly during summer.

Too bad you can’t share with the drought stricken parts of the US!
It looks like it has a lot of soil in it.

I would be great if we could come up with some kind of equitable distribution system! It does have a lot of soil in it – itβs quite yellow.

That waterfall is really pounding right now. The noise of the water alone is almost deafening.
