We finally have some sun after, well, a really lot of snow. We’re not finished yet, either.

Wish me luck, because I might have to dig the equivalent of the English Channel Tunnel in my driveway.

  3. Yup, another 8 cm here yesterday for a total to date of about 43 cm. This is the equivalent to what we would get in 2 months. Guess 2020 is not going to go out quietly. Stay well and hope the shoveling slows down soon, Lynette. Allan

    1. Thank you. 🙂 We are really getting it this year! It’s been snowing here for almost two months already. Since we can’t go anywhere, I suppose it’s just as well. Nope, 2020 is going out like a lion, it seems. My recollection of the old saying (applied to March, of course) is that a good spring would then follow. I hope that that’s true of 2020 as well. You stay well, too.

      Years ago, there was an ad (I can’t remember anymore what the ad was peddling) on tv here entitled “High Speed Chase.” It showed two cars, one behind the other, spinning their tires in deep snow with no forward movement at all. 😉

  11. Whew! I don’t look forward to that much snow. We’re supposed to get only an inch overnight, which is to be expected at this time of year.

    1. Thank you, Lori. We got a bunch more last night. Very heavy and moisture laden; it came down almost like rain. It had piled up so much that I almost couldn’t get my door open! There’s nothing like a good snow-shovelling session to wake you up in the morning. 😉
