Right now I am covered in snow (this is waaay too early!) at my work home, but pleasant July memories of my home home are sustaining me. This was taken on my birthday.
Have a good week everyone. 🙂

Eek! Snow already? I’m happy you have this beautiful July memory, Lynette.

I know. I can’t believe it either. I’m hanging on to as many summer memories as I can!

Looks like a beautiful spot to celebrate your birthday. Nice views and nice wine.

It was. These are some of the vines of the Road 13 winery. One of my favourites (they are good with outlier red varieties) and such a beautiful location. 🙂

Ahhhh, July, so long ago. Only minimal snow here so far, but cold biting winds and low temps. It is like autumn realized it had stayed too long and flipped the switch. Stay warm Lynette. Allan

I heard that Alberta is getting a strong blast. A nice appetizer for the full meal later. This is too early!

Yup, unfortunately. I am pretty far north, but it seems to be early, even for here. Or maybe I just don’t want it. 😉

I’m going to ask, really nicely, for you to please keep that stuff up by you for just a little while longer. I so don’t want snow yet.

Hahaha. Great comment. 🙂 I’m happy to keep it here. No use spreading it around everywhere. I’ll have a nice chat with the sky tomorrow about that. 😉

From the looks of things, you must have had a lovely birthday. 😉
It’s snowing here but we’re not covered (yet).

It was a very nice day. Quite hot (about 35C) but M and I did some winery hopping and really enjoyed it. The winery in the photo is one of my favourites – Road 13.
My condolences on the snow. I have to say that I’m fighting it this year!

I’m sure I’ve drunk some very good red from that valley, Lynette. Lovley picture. It’s good to have memories of warmth when you’re plunging into the minus temperatures. Stay safe.

I’m glad to hear that. Okanagan wines are new world, of course, and many of the wineries are still trying make an international name for themselves. I know of a couple that are part of the terroir shown in the photo that are shipping to the UK. I like whites and rosés but there’s nothing like a good red.
