I’ve been looking through my archive for photos that I think are marvellous.
Here’s a photo from a year ago taken in one of Vancouver Island’s old growth rainforests. It’s also marvellous because M is in it.

I hope your week goes well.
Stay safe. 🙂

What a gorgeous photograph, Lynette. That would make for a fun and quite difficult jigsaw puzzle. 🙂

It was. A really beautiful place. 🙂 I’m so glad that some of these ancient forests have been saved.

This is one of those shots that really needs a person in it to give you a feel for scale. I’ve never been anywhere with such massive trees, so I’m a little jealous. So amazing!

Thanks! I felt that it needed perspective, as well.
Those forests are really something, and there are a number of them on Vancouver Island.

I just recently read something about the forests in Canada, and then I see this – Now that’s what I call timing. 🙂
Beautiful!

Hahaha. 🙂 There was a lot of protesting and fighting about 30 years ago in order to save these old growth forests on Vancouver Island and the coast. We almost lost them to the logging companies (and others were lost).

For some reason, these old growth forests remind me of Narnia (not sure why), so yes, magical. 🙂
