I’ve been looking through my archive for photos that I think are marvellous.

Here’s a photo from a year ago taken in one of Vancouver Island’s old growth rainforests. It’s also marvellous because M is in it.

  7. This is one of those shots that really needs a person in it to give you a feel for scale. I’ve never been anywhere with such massive trees, so I’m a little jealous. So amazing!

    1. Hahaha. 🙂 There was a lot of protesting and fighting about 30 years ago in order to save these old growth forests on Vancouver Island and the coast. We almost lost them to the logging companies (and others were lost).
