This is in the Okanagan Valley which is in BC’s interior between two sets of mountain ranges. It partially occupies the very northern tip of the Sonoran Desert. It is known for its temperate climate, wine, and access to skiing. It’s also very beautiful. 🙂
Good to hear! 🙂 But hard to stay inside when the weather is that good. I took this photo last spring (this is where I live) as I am on lockdown at my work-home in the north right now.
Are you ok Lynette, I truly hope that you are healing what ever you have and will pray for you. I am grateful that you are feeling well. Love and hugs my friend. Joni
Hi Joni, many thanks for your kindness – much appreciated. 🙂 There’s nothing wrong at all. It’s just a precaution because I had “potential” contact with covid, but no symptoms of any kind. I will be finished on Friday, thankfully!
Gorgeous view! I love contemplating nature. Right now, outside my window I can see…. um, nothing exciting whatsoever, so I’ll just keep gandering at your photo… 😉
It is truly wonderful – I love walking on the edge of that view.
I’m gandering at my photo too because I’m on my fourth week of lockdown. Done on Friday, though! Can’t wait. I get to go for groceries! I never have appreciated that so much before. 🙂
Is that now, or a previous life?

I actually live there. I work in the north, which is why I post a lot of northern, snowy photos. This photo was taken last spring.

That’s what I was wondering – whether that scene looks like that right now, or later in the spring.

Love it! The mountains were “out” and so beautiful where I live. I hope the sun stays for a while:)

It is quite something and there are lots of trails around, too, so many vantage points. 🙂 I am looking forward to seeing it again. 🙂
