Hello Rosie!

We recently had dinner at a lovely winery called Kismet.Really nice Indian food accompanied by Kismet’s wines. These were great matches which is a bit of challenge with spicier foods as the wine can be overwhelmed.

We were also treated to their pretty rose garden.

And one more rosie.

Skol from the Okanagan Valley. 🙂

    1. The restaurant made quite good wine choices. We had a white that was very slightly sweet with a lovely smooth mouth feel – it complemented the spicier foods well. Somehow, that smooth mouth feel just evened out the spicy edges.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Kismet has been a winery since about 2013. They were growing grapes however for other wineries for about 10 years before that. They finally decided to try for themselves and I think they are doing well as a younger winery. A little more experience will probably give their wines real depth.
      Skol! 🙂

    1. It did! I am very fond of the variety of Indian dishes and several in particular (I love pakoras). I have family friends who are Indian and have partaken of many wonderful home-cooked meals, so my tummy is well- acclimated. 🙂
