Stopping by Vineyard on a Summer Day

Recently, we stopped at the Nk’Mip Vineyard on a very hot summer day to have a bite, some water, and a glass of wine.

This bottle only had water, but it was lovely on a parched throat as we drank in the beautiful vista and waited for lunch.

Greetings from the ripening wine grapes of the Okanagan Valley. 🙂

  1. What a lovely place to visit and enjoy lunch. I love the picture of the rows of grapes and the water in the background.

  2. Oh, that is hilarious! I’d never seen a water bottle like that before (wine, yes) until the trip we just took. The last restaurant we visited served water in a bottle like that and then you post a picture of one. I wanted to bring one home with me.

    1. My M also likes interesting glass and consequently we have quite a bit.

The view beyond shows Osoyoos Lake (and some of the Nk’Mip vineyards) – great for boating and swimming. That day we also watched a four-plane water bombing unit practising their pick-ups on the lake as well. It was great that they could just practise like that – no fires. 🙂

  3. This place looks amazing! Thanks for the link–I checked it out and I’m super impressed by the variety they offer on the lunch menu. Maybe we’ll check it out in the early fall.
