Too Gorgeous

We recently visited Twin Falls Gorge Territorial Park not far from Hay River, NWT.

The river was very low from the dry summer but the falls were still very impressive.

It was an invigorating visit – quite cool at only 6Β°C.

Winter is approaching quickly and yes, it will be cold. Be we will also have the delights of winter.

Greetings from the spectacular vistas of the Northwest Territories.

  1. Great fall shots. Did any of the recent Alberta snow make it that far north? 22 and sunny at 6 AM in Magog, but only +2 and snow back in Alberta. Yikes. This is a very big country. Thanks for sharing, Lynette. Allan

      1. Ha Ha. The joke is on us. After +28 feels like +36 in Magog yesterday, we are in Matane tonight, where it is +4 feels like -30. Courtesy of hurricane Florence, I guess. Allan

  2. You are right–the word for these views is ‘spectacular’. I didn’t know there were waterfalls out and about in nature. I thought there were just a few but I’m beginning to think that isn’t true. An interesting creation by nature.

    1. Thank you. πŸ™‚ There are lots of waterfalls – all different types and sizes. They are always so beautiful and for me, somehow comforting to watch. They also generate a lot of power too. πŸ™‚
