Here in the north …

… the rivers are low. It has been hot and dry.
But it’s cooler now and the autumn colours emerge quickly and early.

The birches are lovely …

… and the air invigorating and fresh.

But soon, all this will be covered in snow. We have to enjoy the wonders of the north as they appear today. They will not be the same tomorrow.
Greetings and good autumn wishes from my home away from home, the Northwest Territories, at 61° N latitude.
Love the autumn colors, Lynette. After no rain for most of the summer, we’re preparing for Hurricane Florence…very uncool. 😦

I’ve been thinking about you on and off all day. I hope it drops off as much as possible as soon as possible. Good luck and stay safe. 🍀

It’s beautiful in your neck of the woods. In my neck (southeastern Pennsylvania) we’ve been stuck in very rainy weather patterns for weeks. For months, actually. Have a great autumn.

Thank you very much. It is very beautiful but can also be very unforgiving.
You have a great autumn as well – I hope you get some sunny weather before it turns cold.
