Yes, I agree. I still find that amazing, even though I’ve seen and experienced it many times over. Years ago I saw a lone tree growing in the desert in Namibia. It was gnarled and stooped and twisted and literally surrounded by sand. It must have been very old (and one tough tree). I’ve often wondered if it’s still there.
