An autumn bridge crosses through yellowing cottonwood trees …

… as a distant half-moon gazes impassively on.

Happy Saturday.

I had to look twice for the bridge. It blends in well.

That bridge is over a creek near home and I use it regularly. No matter the season, I always find it pretty and yes, right now it’s rather hidden by foliage. 🍂

Remarkable. I love the color of the leaves! Oops! You are seeing the moon from here hehehe

Thank you, Ishvi. 😊 The colours this year are fantastic but we keep getting quite a lot of wind and rain storms. When we have a good day, such as when I took these pictures, the daytime moon is a lovely addition. Cheers.

Trees are among Nature’s greatest creations, in my opinion.

I agree wholeheartedly, Neil. I love them – their shapes, leaves, twigs and branches in all their diversity. And then there’s what they do for the planet. They’re amazing.

Autumn has still got it going on out your way Lynette. Nice to see. Hopefully weather will stabilize for a while. We are into our 4th spring here and the flowers and birds are amazing. Happy Saturday/Sunday. Allan

You’ve definitely had lots of spring this year, Allan! Although the reasons for that weren’t always the best all that spring must have been a nice silver lining. And now it’s continuing in a place that you love! Yes, autumn lasts well into November here, particularly with some tree species like the hickory. There’s a huge one behind us that hasn’t shown any signs of turning yellow yet and probably won’t for another couple of weeks. Cheers.

Thanks, Linda. Our weather lately has been really spotty with lots of wind and rain, so I have to enjoy the sun when it arrives to provide one of those lovely autumn days. I hope you were able to take advantage of your extra hour. Cheers.
